Brief: Create a YouTube series concept for Duolingo that subtly sells the product benefits without feeling heavily branded.
Execution: I co-directed a pilot, casting real couples who ultimately broke a language barrier in order to find love. A number of couples were filmed and interviewed in a contained studio environment which allowed them to open up about the benefits and obstacles that come with being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t natively speak the same language.
